Welcome to Bloem Clinic, your herbal medicine well-being experience!
My name is Michaela Böttner, Medical Herbalist, Mycotherapy practitioner and founder of Bloem Clinic.
At the clinic, I use herbal medicine to support my clients bloom in their journey to wellness.
I offer support for a wide variety of conditions, including hormonal imbalances such as heavy and painful periods, digestive complaints, skin conditions and chronic illnesses.
Our Services
Herbal Medicine Consultations
I offer one-to-one consultations that take place by Zoom with the aim to create a bespoke herbal protocol for you. I also work with clients in London and West Sussex in person on occasion as well.
Your initial 90-minute consultation allows us to explore your health history in depth so I can develop a tailored herbal protocol that addresses your unique concerns. Where appropriate, I may also recommend functional testing, such as stool or blood tests, and carry out clinical examinations when needed.
Whether you're struggling with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or aiming to elevate your overall well-being, I’m here to support and guide you on your health journey.
Practitioner Referral
I work with other health professionals to provide personalised herbal medicine support for their clients. I welcome referrals from nutritionists, physiotherapists, functional medicine practitioners, and allied health professionals seeking a medical herbalist to complement existing treatment plans.
With the client’s consent, I liaise directly with the referring practitioner to understand clinical goals before developing a tailored herbal protocol.
My aim is to integrate seamlessly with the lead practitioner’s care plan through expertly formulated, bespoke herbal prescriptions.
About Me
Michaela graduated with a first class BSc. Hons. in Clinical Herbalism from Lincoln College, where she was honoured with the Arthur Barker award for best graduate by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
She pursued additional training, completing the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice program with the Institute of Functional Medicine as well as becoming a qualified Mycotherapy practitioner through The Wild Side of Life training, graduating with a distinction.
Through in-depth client assessments, bespoke herbal formulations are created incorporating principles of phytotherapy, medicinal mushrooms and herbal energetics.
