Welcome to Bloem Clinic, your herbal well-being experience!

My name is Michaela Böttner, Medical Herbalist, Mycotherapy practitioner and founder of Bloem Clinic.
At the clinic, I use herbal medicine to support my clients bloom in their journey to wellness.

I offer support for a wide variety of conditions, including hormonal imbalances such as heavy and painful periods, digestive complaints, skin conditions and chronic illnesses.

Herbal Medicine Consultations

At Bloem Clinic, we're dedicated to enhancing your health and well-being through a comprehensive range of services tailored to your individual needs.

Our personalised 1-to-1 consultations take place by Zoom with the aim to create a bespoke herbal protocol for you. We also work with clients in London and West Sussex.

During your initial 90-minute consultation, we delve into your health history to develop a tailored herbal protocol addressing your specific requirements. Additionally, we may suggest functional testing such as stool or blood tests and conduct clinical examinations when necessary.

Whether you're struggling with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or aiming to elevate your overall well-being, we're committed to being your partner on your health journey.

Practitioner Partnership

We specialise in crafting personalised herbal protocols to complement and enhance the care provided by other health professionals. We partner with nutritionists, physiotherapists, functional medicine practitioners, and more to offer clients a bespoke approach to wellness.

With the client’s consent, we consult directly with their primary practitioner to understand therapeutic goals before collaborating with the client to design a tailored herbal protocol. Our aim is to seamlessly support the lead practitioner’s plan by offering expertly blended, custom herbal formulations.

About Me

Michaela graduated with a first class BSc. Hons. in Clinical Herbalism from Lincoln College, where she was honoured with the Arthur Barker award for best graduate by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.

She pursued additional training, completing the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice program with the Institute of Functional Medicine as well as becoming a qualified Mycotherapy practitioner through The Wild Side of Life training, graduating with a distinction.

Through in-depth client assessments, bespoke herbal formulations are created incorporating principles of phytotherapy, medicinal mushrooms and herbal energetics.
